Are off-season Saturdays always this busy?

We just got back from a weekend at DLRP. Friday was great but Saturday wait times were crazy eg. 45 minutes for It's A Small World and 90 for Buzz! Obviously weekends are always busier but I didn't expect a low-season Saturday to be that bad... was I being naive?!

From my experience Saturday's are always very busy, even in low season.

Rule 1 of DLP (and apparently Anaheim and Tokyo) - weekends are always crazy. Locals with annual passes!

Always go midweek if you can (cheaper too) and avoid French and Spanish holidays.

Our last day on this trip is a Saturday and I'm already dreading it! Hopefully we'll have done everything we want to in the four previous days that we'll have a bit more of a chill out day.

Yes I always avoid Saturdays. There are a lot of annual passholders who come at the weekend, plus lots of short breaks to Paris over weekends.

We've broken our own rule several times - last time we arrived late on Thursday night and left early Sunday morning (those 29 Eurostar fares meant trains at funny times).

Saturday was much, much busier, but we went all-out on Friday and then on Saturday we did a lot of shows and a nice sit down meal.
