Duty Free With Connection within EU

Quick question, I am flying from heathrow to Dublin then on to Orlando next week (eeeek). With Duty Free, can I buy stuff in Duty Free at Heathrow or will they be funny about that as I am going to Dublin first?

We went via Frankfurt so the assistant put it in a sealed bag, not to be opened. It was fine.

Have you an opportunity to buy in Dublin? As it tends to be one of the better value duty frees. You can check prices on Theloop.ie
