The original plan was a nice meat and potato pie with mushy peas but with my DD being home for 2 days only (though back for the new year) I’m doing the pie tomorrow and a simple chicken dinner on Sunday... it’s rib of beef for Christmas Day with all the trimmings...

it will be puddings in the corner for us as there will be only three of us on sunday, the rest of the brood will be here on Christmas day will be feeding for 15

We've had cheese and onion toasties We're out to a local pub for tea tomorrow night and then obviously the big event on Tuesday, so a day without a "proper" meal won't kill us (and they were yummy )
