First time we went, we bought all the tickets (they were a lot cheaper then). Nowadays we are more selective. For our Christmas trip we have
6 day MYW Disney tickets
3 day Universal
1 day KSC
Discovery Cove (so 14 days at Seaworld and Aquatica)
Total was less than £500pp, saving us £100pp if we bought ultimate tickets. Good saving when there are 6 of us.

We buy the ultimates for Disney and the 14 day for Universal as previously said, we don't like being restricted. We would use the entries for the Disney waterparks quite a bit.

The only other attraction we would visit is KSC but won't be doing that next year unless they have a new exhibition.

We do Disney and Universal. We used to do SeaWorld too but lost interest a bit and we're not interested in the other parks.

Last year we bought 14 day Disney and 14 day Universal tickets (combo deal). Planning on the same next time.
Quite fancy Seaworld but not sure if we can fit it in. Also, not sure it is cost effective. Would want it as a standalone not part of a deal as there wouldn't be time to get our money's worth. .

We did 1 day Disney last time and the rest...this year its Universal, Seaworld, Busch, Aquatica and Wet n Wild which will be fine for us. One day Disney would add $500 so not worth it for us.

Going on our first trip and have opted for Disney Ultimates, Universal & Seaworld/Bush Gardens.Opted for flexibility mainly and cost savings wasn't a lot. Also added Seaworld/Bush as we are spending some time on gulf coast.

Depends how long we are going for on what tickets we buy.

1 week = Disney Ultimate -or- Orlando Flexticket (5 park one)
2 weeks = Disney Ultimate + Orlando Flexticket (6 park one), possibly Discovery Cove
3 weeks = Disney Ultimate + Orlando Flexticket (6 park one) + Discovery Cove

The choice of rides is a big influence for a 1 week trip. This Summer we are seeing big new rides at SeaWorld & IoA + a re-tracked Hulk, so that would probably swing it towards the Flexticket for a 1 week visit for us.

For trips of 2 weeks or more, we like complete flexibility. Yes it costs more, but we never spend an entire day in any park - park-hopping all the way for us.
