How late can you be for an ADR?

I've been trying to get an ADR for Sci Fi Diner at HS for 6pm, but the only time I can get is 4.10pm which I've reserved but to be honest it's a bit too early for us. What happens if you arrive 15-20 minutes late, will they honour the reservation?

I do remember turning up half an hour late at Raglan Road a few years ago, but that was genuinely because we waited over an hour at our resort for a Disney bus then had to run like hell once we arrived at DS. They did seat us straight away to be fair.

Obviously I will keep checking to see if I can change the time but just wondered what happens if I'm stuck with this time.

Official policy is 15 mins.

Keep checking the ADR’s, we ended up with an ADR at Sci Fi for 5pm really wanted 6 or later, about a month later managed to get the time we wanted

We turned up 45 mins late for our BOG dinner last year and they were absolutely fine, didn’t bat an eyelid. However, I wouldn’t say this is probably the norm.

15 min policy but I'd guess it depends on how busy they are, ADR's are booked on time slots & Disney have it down to a fine art for turnaround but if you are 15 mins late, then the next family are 15 mins late getting their table ...

We were 20-25 min late for yak&yeti and it was fine

We were 20 minutes late for Liberty Tree Tavern. We had to wait another 40 minutes before a table for two became available.

We were about 40 minutes late for our brunch reservation at Cali Grill. When we got there they had to reinstate our booking but it was no problem and we got an amazing window table

15 minutes is the policy and you run the risk of been turned away and I have seen this happen several time to families (Le Cellier, Be our Guest dinner, Ohana). So while people have been accommodated it’s not a guarantee. In my view it’s rude anyway if done purposely as it stands to impact on other guests dining after you who turn up on time.
