Coach outlet
Hi has anyone been in the Coach shops at the outlets, are they good value.
I have worked really hard this year and wanted to treat myself to a bag what prices are they. |

Offers were 50% off everything and 40% extra off sale items, some were marked up at final prices.
Wife bought one for $129 (she bought same last year in tan/brown so got black this time). Same bag in Costco / John Lewis is £350 (think it was 'Edie' range). Quality of Coach is better than Michael Kors IMHO so didn't get anything there (I'm not a fan of MK stuff so prefer her getting Coach and Kate Spade). Kate Spade had different offers, some were 60% + extra 20% off so she got one of those for $82 from their clearance section (also some earrings which worked out something like $14) Hope that helps |

Yes and no.
The thing about Coach factory outlets is that they carry a range that is made for factory. This can be bags that are similar to the ones they carry at full price stores, but there are slight differences e.g. in material. Sometimes it's very obvious that the material is inferior, other times less so. (I have one Coach bag from the outlet that is identical in style to one that my friend has from the full price store. I'm happy with the material in general, but it's very obvious when you put the two bags side by side that the quality of the material for my bag is inferior.) They also have a very small selection of items that were originally sold in the full price stores, but that are marked down as past season. But the prices are generally decent, so I do find myself buying things at the Coach outlet... (I went through a Coach phase a few years ago and used to hang out on a Coach forum...)

Yeah, the assistants will tell you which are made for the outlets and which are previous season (the ones we talked to did ).

They are incredible value, I got 2 leather backpacks from the Premium Outlets store that were reduced from around $600 to $160 each.
Wish I was there now and can't wait to go back again. |
