I've created the Lufthansa Flyers group - a place to ask questions and share the Lufthansa experience.

Trying for More Ears

We did this in 2018 for a similar price.
We found them to be a very good airline and wouldn't hesitate to do it again if the price was right. Just block it out of your mind that you're coming back on yourself! |

Excited about Disney

We did this route outward and return in 2015, on return our flight was late into Frankfurt, however there were a few of us and they held up the flight to London and fast tracked us through at Frankfurt. Very efficient.

Flew each way via FRA. Stressful, because each of our first flights was delayed. Going out, the staff were really helpful and supported us through the airport in the quickest way, we had time for a frankfurter and then boarded. On the way back, we had to go through security again and the airport staff were horrible, telling us we probably wouldn’t make it and they wouldn’t hold the flight. I suspected they would, but rushed my poor, exhausted children through! Only to be sitting waiting on the bus for the people who had sauntered through!
My children really didn’t enjoy the food, I thought it was standard airplane fare. Worth it for the saving we made, but I’ve opted to do our stop over the other side of the Atlantic next trip! |

My brother/sil flew Birmingham to F'furt into the US and changed again for their RSW flight, he wouldn't do so again, the return was particularly tough. It'll likely be OK if flying FF to MCO.
