Universal/Volcano Bay Parking

We are planning to visit volcano bay and then Universal later the same day when we visit next May. Which would be the best car park to park in? Does Volcano Bay car park stay open after park closing? Or would we need to use Universal's car park and walk to the Volcano Bay shuttle bus?

They are the same car park. To go to volcano bay you park at Universal and get a bus.

So to go to volcano bay you just park in Universal as if you were going to city walk? Is it then sign posted for the VB bus stop?

Head to the Universal car park. VB uses the right-hand parking garage and Universal the left hand. Park in the right hand garage for VB and get the bus to VB

We are here now and have been to US and VB... as someone has said drive to the right for VB parking and drive to the left to pay for the US and IOA parking and then follow the instructions of the attendant s to where to park...
If you do VB first you will park to the right in the ground floor and upon your return to go to the theme park you will just need to go to the back of the garage and use the stairs or lift to get to the concourse to take you to the theme parks...

Volcano Bay parking is exclusively on the ground floor of the right hand garage, the other floors are for Citywalk and the Universal parks. You go through security and board the shuttle bus in the garage, and the bus returns you to the same spot. As mentioned in the previous post there is access from the back of the garage up onto the walkway to Citywalk.
