Early Morning Uber Availability
First post, please be gentle!
My mind is pretty made up that Uber will be our preferred mode of transport when travelling outside of WDW, I'm just wondering what the availability of Uber cars is like early morning, i.e. getting to Discovery Cove for 7.30 am. Staying at Disney's Beach Resort, two adults and a 12 year old in our party. |

It won't be a problem. Remember Orlando is also a thriving city with a big business district, and the commute certainly starts before 7.30am.

i agree, shouldn't be a problem at all, I had already pre-booked my Mears private transfer to MCO from I-Drive at 7.30am, but while I was waiting for it to arrive at our hotel I checked the Uber app and there were cars in the area at that time in the morning in my immediate vicinity.

You should get one ok, but as at business rush hour there may be a surge in the price.

last year we did Uber everywhere they were cheap and really reliable. I never waited more than 10 minutes. We used them to get to Discovery Cove early and also to Universal from CBR and that only cost us $15 at 7am... we even used Uber going to and from parks from CBR when the queues were huge at the bus stops... if we were in MK late we would walk over to Contemporary along the path and order an Uber - never paid more than about $5 going between parks and resorts on site. We also used them to go shopping at Florida Mall. I'm Uber all the way again this year it worked out cheaper than the car hire thing and meant we could partake in all the free cocktails at Discovery Cove.

I've got Uber a couple of times at 7.00am from POR to HRH - never a problem.
