Hi
As it's your first time I wouldn't recommend an economy car unless the budget was really tight. The difference between an economy and a mid-size is like night and day as far as creature comforts and extras like cruise control, some you might be glad of if you take the toll road to Fort Lauderdale. Thanks everyone. Think I've going to cancel TC and book alamo brits today.
What's the difference with the attached? One says 2 or 4 door the other is just 4 door. I wouldn't imagine they have many 2 door midsizes? What do people do about pick up/drop off times? Estimate? we land at 12:15pm so was thinking booking pickup 2:00pm to allow time for immigration etc. How does that sound? What happens if get through earlier then you put down? |

Hi. Save the few £ as they never seem to have 2 door cars plus they don't really mind what you have as long as it's in the right class.
For your time to pick up I would put 1.00pm. It matters not if you are early or late. The main thing is make sure you get it back 5 mins at the latest before the time you exited the garage or you will be charged extra.

Hi
I concur with Mr Tom. The only thing you may want to consider is when your return flight is to possible avoid an extra day. Eg if you were landing at 12:15 and your return flight was say 17:00 arriving at the airport about14:00 you might want, if the budget is tight, to delay picking the car up until 14:00 thus saving an extra days rental. You could of course reverse this set up and arrive back at the airport more than 3 hours before the flight. Alex Edited at 03:41 PM. Reason: Clarification |
