Very unlikely, car hire companies don't choose it as an option so they can charge extra between $10/16 per day

thought that might be the case but seeing as it is a premium vehicle could have it. The last hire car we had was a premium and that had it built in.

We had one via Alamo three years ago and it had a built in Sat Nav that worked

The next two years we had premium cars that had satellite radios with built in sat navs but they didn't work, just kept asking us to pay a subscription.
The Alamo guy told us on return that they came with a few months subscription on the new cars, but once that was done, the sat navs stop working as Alamo won't pay.

We just take our own one.

We had a Suburban last July/August from Hertz, it had a sat navy but sadly it wasn't working.

All suburbans are fitted as standard as it is part of the info/entertainment system.
Generally will be enabled from new for free period of license hire car companies won't renew but depending on how old will work.
Ours was 7 months old and working.

I doubt it, as its a $500 option on the LT model. We had a Tahoe LT from hertz last November and that didn't have Navigation. However, it did come with Apple Car Play and Android Auto as standard - so I was able to use Apple Maps Navigation, as I do in my VW Golf at home. Only issue is that Three mobile data is generally pretty slow so I found it better to plan routes while connected to the villa or park wifi.
