Two cities immigration?

Hi
Sorry for the confusing title!
We are flying to Chicago Thursday then on to Orlando Saturday, will we have to go through immigration again in MCO? With all the stories of long waits I'm hoping not!
Thank you
Sarah

No, that will be a domestic flight. You'll go straight out into baggage claim.

No, you only do immigration/customs on first arrival in the US.
At Orlando, you go straight from the plane to the transit. The baggage claims for domestic flights are in the main terminal, on either the A or B side. They are on Level 2, down one from the transit. Car hire is down one level more on the ground floor.

I can't say it's like that every time but arriving at Mco domestic passengers in August 2015 we were with our bags and on our way to MDE in 20 minutes it's just great to arrive as a domestic passenger
