Mobile What is there in seaworld to do?

Hi I need some help thinking of changing 5 night universal to 5 night seaworld aquatica and doing 1 day in volcano bay next September please tell me what is there to do in seaworld? Is it just aquariums like selfie? Or is there interesting things we did universal last year but wanted a change for next year but really unsure?

Seaworld has quite a bit to do but it all depends on whether you will find it interesting, they have quite a few good rollercoasters now and these are as well themed as any coasters you will find at universal apart from the HP stuff. There are shows and lots of walk through attractions to do, i would look at the website and find the park map and see if you think there is enough to keep you happy for a day or so. Seaworld is also much easier to get to without a car as you can get the iride trolley to the door. If you like sea creatures of all kinds and are looking for a change I would give it a go, if you can splurge try discovery cove as well, it looks expensive but you do get unlimited 'free' Seaworld and Aquatica entry included with this for a fortnight after your visit.

As has been said, SeaWorld has more than some fishy displays - there are a number of excellent rollercoasters and quite a few animal-based shows (Orcas, dolphins, sealions, to name but a few).

We arrived at rope-drop and found that mixing up our time between the rides, sitting in shows, going round the shops, and just having a rest, we saw through the whole day, which we weren't really expecting.

If you're open to the different events, then I'd say you could kill a whole day at SeaWorld quite easily.

There are some good rides at Seaworld and some good animal shows too.

I don't think I could spend more than a day at sea world the repeat value is quite small. I love it but never really want to do it twice for some reason.

I could probably do 2 days max at Seaworld if it was busy and missed some stuff the first day. Not sure I could get 5 days out of it though? You could fill up another day or two at aquatica though I guess.
Could you do Universal/IOA and Seaworld Aquatica? You can get some decent ticket deals covering all of them. It would depend on your budget obviously

We loved it when we went last time. We spent all day there & did the following:

Fed the stingrays
Watched the dolphin show
Watched pets ahoy - great show with rescue animals from dogs to ducks
Watched the sea lion show
Wandered around to see the penguins, belugas, manatee & polar bear etc
Did all the coasters
Saw the Budweiser horses
Shopping
Lunch

The only thing we didnt do is see the Orca's (for my own reasons) but it filled the day comfortably with no rushing about.

Seaworld is more than just a SeaLife centre (I assume you mean Sealife, not selfie?). At Seaworld there is a mix of thrill rides, aquatic shows and animals to see. It's sort of like a zoo with rides. Here's a list of things you can do:

Rides:
Mako (rollercoaster)
Kraken (rollercoaster)
Manta (rollercoaster)
Journey to Atlantis (water ride)
Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin (trackless dark ride)
Wild Arctic (simulator)
Sky Tower (tall viewing tower)
Shamu Express (kids coaster) + 4 other kids rides

Shows:
One Ocean (orcas)
Ocean Discovery (orcas)
Dolphin Days (dolphins)
Pets Ahoy (rescue dogs, cats, etc)
Clyde and Seamore's Sea Lion High (sealions, otters)
Turtle Trek (3D 360-degree film about turtles)

Animal 'encounters':
Dolphins at Dolphin Cove
Young dolphins at the Dolphin nursery
Manatee rehabilitation area
Orca underwater viewing area
Stingray lagoon
Underwater shark encounter exhibit
Sealions at Pacific Point Preserve
See penguins in the chilly Antarctica enclosure
See beluga whales and walruses at Wild Arctic
Various aquariums (eg. at Journey to Atlantis and Manta) to see lots of fish

That's not quite everything - but it gives you an idea of what you can do.

We find that we never manage to do everything in one day - two days at Seaworld are usually required. However, it is just one park so I don't think you would find enough to do over 5 days, even if you added a day or two at Aquatica.

Mind you, I find 3 or 4 days at the two main Universal parks is plenty. Although with Volcano Bay as well, those three parks could fill 5 days.

Is it worth getting the 3 park ticket SW / Aquatica/ Busch Gardens with free parking?

Then you could spend a day at Busch as well.
