MNSSHP Fast Pass question
Has anyone who has been on a party only ticket booked and used fast passes, if so how do you scan in for FP entry without actual plastic ticket?

I have but I linked the plastic ticket to our magic bands that we had last year. I then used the magic bands to get in and use for the fast pass.

You can't use fast passes at MNSHHP. Your wristband from your ticket is how you get on rides, guests without a band have to leave the park and can't get on anything. You don't need fastpasses anyway, the queues are short enough. I went to the opening night party as a guest and it was sold out. The longest queue was 20 minutes for splash mountain, that's it!

Sorry I meant between 4-7pm. Good to know queues so short during party 🙂

The park closes to guests at 6, so fastpasses won't work after then. The party officially starts at 7, so they have like an hour to clear out normal guests. People with tickets can still go on everything but the party doesn't officially start until 7. It was so good!
I think I may have only just understood your original post, do you not have park tickets already? If not, then I'm assuming you just link your MNSSHP ticket to the app and use your Magic Bands to do the fast passes. If you don't have Magic Bands, then your entry ticket should still work as a fast pass. Hopefully this helps somewhat?

Thanks, we managed to use the fast passes we didn’t have park tickets or magic bands & I only had email confirmation of party tickets, which I was told would be swapped for wrist band on entry. I wasn’t sure how we’d actually scan ticket to enter for fast pass. As it was we were given actual tickets at ticket centre then got band on entry so all good

On 24th ride queues much longer than expected, 7DMT up to 50 mins, lowest was 30m. Peter Pan 25 minutes, Pirates 20-30m. Even queues for treats up to 10m. Heard someone saying didn't used to be like that. Sadly CMs not great either, didn't get treat bags till 8, and that was coz we made a fuss. Glad we did it, wouldn't go back tho.

We were there same night and agree queues were long for rides & treats, we skipped a lot of treat stations. I’ve been in past & it didn’t feel as manic. We enjoyed it though and my little ones had a ball

We were there for our first MNSSHP too on Fri 24th. Much, much busier than I’d been expecting although bearable as it cooled down for the eve. Felt busier than when I visited for the day 2 weeks ago.
We arrived at 4, used the 2 FPs I’d booked for before 6pm with no problem. I was expecting shorter queues but experienced 50 mins for mine train (at 10.30) and 40 for space mountain (which went tech as it wouldn’t adjust properly for the Halloween experience) and 60 for haunted mansion (so we gave this one a miss). Treat stations were crazy busy but we had plenty after visiting 3 - some of the bags people had taken in were huge, can’t believe how many they’d queued for! We didn’t queue for any characters as their lines were v. Busy too. Watched the parade (got a spot in Frontierland around 8.45) then made our way to near Tomorrowland Terrace to watch the fireworks (nice and calm here although couldn’t hear the soundtrack particularly well), rode mine train then left around 11.30. Good evening overall, kids loved it and talk about it often but the huge volume of people really slowed things down getting about the park. We’d already done MK at the start of the hol so this was an added extra visit on our last night. |
