HHN - Stay and Scream
Hi guys,
Hope someone can fill me in here. On the latest Tim Tracker video, he gives an 'everything you need to know' guide on HHN. He mentions that if you have a day ticket to Universal AND a HHN ticket for that night, you automatically get to do the Stay and Scream while the park changes over. Is this true? Because I thought this was an extra ticket you had to buy? Has anyone done S+S? What's this about being lead to a certain house first? It may work out that 2 of our party do S+S and 2 meet us at start of evening, but would we be lead to different areas? Thanksss

yep we do stay and scream and its just s he said you get put in 1 of 3 holding areas and then when the time comes they lead you to a house from there you can roam around.
if you are in different areas you can always meet up after the first house.

I see, so they lead you to a certain house, but you don't actually have to go in that house first? You can just walk wherever you want?
And you didn't have to buy a specific ticket for this? You just had the separate day and night tickets?

Stay & scream used to be a ticket that they sold, so not sure if TT means that- the original one, which was our first ever visit, if you were in the park you could buy a S&S ticket for that night at a reduced cost- $20 on our very first one! I don't call what he is talking about S&S, you go to universal before closing, proceed to one of 3 holding areas, park closes, they total clear the park & generally the "pens" get let loose 18:15-18:30.
You may as well do the House that they lead you to, as it's a staggered opening so only 2-3 may be open at the start. SD

Stay and Scream is as said earlier in the thread - and described perfectly by Tim. You do not need an extra ticket - and haven’t done since 2009 when we started going from what I remember. You have a park ticket for the day and a separate HHN ticket. At 5pm when the day guests who do not have a HHN ticket leave you go to one of the holding areas. Choose one that is close to a house you want to do as when you get released from the holding area you can only go to one house as designated by them. They even line the route to ensure you go that way. If you don’t want to go to a house then stay at the holding area until your friends arrive - but if you do you are missing the opportunity to get through 2 or 3 houses with little or no lines.
