I got my money back from carhire3000 when we cancelled this summer with no charges. It was an automatic repayment online.

Thrifty lets you choose your own car.
We have just used them over our preferred rental company Hertz.
No hard sell ( to us anyway, but overheard a bit)
Clean tidy car and bring back empty option.
Came up £200 cheaper than others, this was for a Ford Escape.
