8 day trip...what to do?
On a YOLO whim we are looking to book our second trip next Autumn. Due to costs we are looking at keeping it as 9 nights - 2 of the days would be travel days so we would have 8 full days. Would want to include Universal so wondering if anyone has any thoughts on how they would itinerary this?

Hi,
I guess it depends how long you want at Universal and if you want to take day's of shopping etc. Personally if I was going for 9 days I would plan it out like this: 3 day's Universal 5 day's Disney Day 1 - Travel day Day 2 - Universal studios Day 3 - morning relaxing and afternoon Universal Day 4 - Universal Day 5 - Relax in the morning and go to Hollywood studios later on Day 6 - Animal Kingdom Day 7 - Epcot Day 8 - Magic Kingdom Day 9 - (if time) go to favourite Disney park in the morning and spend the rest of the day relaxing and preparing for travel home. If you are doing other theme parks or wanted a day at a water park such as Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard beach or Volcano bay that would have to be fitted in around theme park day's. Not too sure if this will have helped but here you go

I don't when you're going and if you have kiddies going along but if in Oct. I would check out Horror Nights. IF you enjoy Halloween that is
If you will be having a car. A beach day on the gulf coast perhaps?

Hi,
We're are doing the same next sept! We have skipped universal this time tho. Loved it but 1 it's another cost and 2 it's time we want to spend in Disney really. We are doing split days in each park, we have a mornings planned for shopping and Disney springs and a night planned for California grill. We are going in sept so MNSSHP will be on. Instead of paying we hope to watch it at the grill and save our dinning plan for that night. I think it's great doing a week at Disney. In the U.K. I'd drive 8 hours to go to Cornwall so why not spend the same time but be in Disney! Good luck! |

Thanks for all your suggestions. I definitley think it is doable! We have decided to bite the bullet and do 2 weeks (gulp to the money) as it is my partners first time and I couldn't stand the thought of missing out a few bits. Think the year after definitely a week...
