Congratulations. From what I remember you have to send your pasport off with a copy of your marriage certificate. Its a simple process but I do think it needs to be done for the purpose of your Estas it could caue a problem if you don't

You have to apply for a new passport and pay the passport fee again. Which is £81.25 through the Post Office check and send service. I am in the same situation. Depending on how long you have left on your current passport, I would leave it as it is as you would have to also change the lead passenger booking name which they usually charge you a admin fee for doing so.

As previous poster has said, it may complicate matters (and work out expensive) if you change your passport now as the name on it will be different to the one on the plane ticket. Almost all airlines will charge quite a hefty fee to change the name; some others won't do it at all, and in that case you will lose the booking, and your money. Probably best to leave things as they are until after the honeymoon. It's perfectly legal to travel under your maiden name, and lots of married women do.
