This. I not only would have reported it to the resort (and requested a refund for that night's stay), I would have also called the police.

Exactly. Would have been at the desk to speak to duty manager and had them call police. It’s an assault.

That’s horrible! I would certainly email the resort now you are home. Even though it’s too late to do much, they need to be aware that guests are behaving in this way. We had a problem at the Avanti one year, they were running up and down the walkway outside our room in the early hours of the morning, shouting to each other. The noise of the running footsteps (and not speaking the language so couldn’t understand what they were saying) made us think there was an evacuation or something.

I'm hardly the classiest of girls but I think spitting is vile, I hate it when you see people spitting in street but to actually spit directly at someone is appalling... Whether it's their culture or a show of their feelings towards you in their country... God knows why!

i too would have gone straight to the front desk and requested that they called the Police. Whether it is a Friday night or not they have to be respectful of noise and certainly shouldnt behave like that.

Now that you are home i would contact the hotel and ask them whether they really want guests that behave like that on Disney property.

Any kind of retaliation would land you in trouble here I'm afraid. They are not big on people 'sorting' their own differences out.

Many moons ago, early '80's we were in Orlando, Kissimmee actually! and had bought gas at a station at the very end of the 192 where it joins the 27 (in those days there was nothing on this end of the road just grassland and this old gas station) I guess the old fella didn't like Brits much as he turned and spat at DH's feet. We were shocked but just let it go and went elsewhere for petrol
