There are six of us in World traveller. I haven't paid for seats and the youngest is now 12 so we don't get seat selection in advance ... I'm wondering what chance there is for us to all be sitting together. If we don't get seats together on the outbound trip I will stump up for return as it's not fair on the kids on the night flight back.

Thanks
.

WT: Outbound 77 out of 252 seats have been allocated (status or brought).

WT: Inbound 47 out of 252 seats allocated.

At least 9 seats available in WT both ways (lowest fare buckets gone which would be expected, higher buckets showing 9). Club and WT+ a lot busier (0 club being sold and 1/3 in wt+ in/out)

This would indicate people are not paying to reserve seats but waiting.

When allocating I think (I stress think) I read somewhere that they allocate the larger parties first (which makes sence if trying to keep parties together) when doing their automatic seating 3 days out.

But on the face of it looks good for not paying and waiting IMHO.

It does depart most days at these times, however a few dates for when you are going and returning might help in determining the loads

Thanks Fred I appreciate it's a tricky business trying to predict fullness on the flight. I also had a look on the BA app yesterday and it was showing me a lot of options for seat selection if I wanted to pay. So I suspect you are right and many people are waiting. I do not think there being lots of availability means it will be an empty flight.. we've never had that in the school hols!

I'm going to risk not paying for seats on the outbound. I'll let you know if we are sat together.

Thanks. I'm trying to figure out what a good price is for an upgrade to PE
