Mobile Multiple tickets and FP+

FP+ booking day fast approaching and need some clarification please.

We have MNSSHP tickets which I am about to link to MDE. We already have 10 day non-expiry MYW tickets linked with several days still left, although not intending to use these at all this trip. When I book our FPs, are they linked to the person or the ticket? If the latter, how do I ensure I link them to the MNSSHP ticket?

Thanks.

FP+ are linked to the MDX account

you need tickets to make FP+ reservations, but they're not tied to a ticket itself

But, remember that, if you're only using your MNSSHP ticket on that day, you will only be able to use FP+ for the 4pm-6pm window

there are no FP+ during MNSSHP, and you won't be able to enter MK before 4pm
so you will be able to book, say 3:30-4:30pm and ride just after entering , then 4:30-5:30pm then 5:30-6pm
but from experience this year, there is nothing interesting at 30 days out ... made 60 days FP+ with a single MNSSHP ticket for the early parties in august ... sad and poor choice

but, as far as you're concerned, you have regular tickets on your MDX, meaning MDX will let you book FP+ from opening time to 6pm,
just keep in mind that any FP+ with a window ending before 4pm will be totally useless, because you won't be able to use it

also make sure, when entering the parks, that you do so after 4pm, at the party entrance, and that the ticket that's activated is the MNSSHP ticket and not your 10 days ticket

Many thanks. Really helpful reply.

Sad to hear FP selection is likely to be disappointing. To be honest, since FP came along, we no longer enjoy the parks the way we used to when it was a level playing field, so to speak. Hence why we still have our MYW tickets bought 4-5 years ago and still have days left. We are only going to MNSSHP this time because the first night is DDs birthday and it was her choice.

Thanks for tip about which ticket is activated. Assume you mean if using Magicband? Again, call me old fashioned, but we still use physical tickets!

as soon as a physical ticket (credit card type) is linked to an mdx account, it basically becomes a "flat" magic band.
it stops being a mere ticket, and becomes a physical access media.

this means that if your MNSSHP ticket is linked to the same MDX account as your non expiry ticket, you will be able, in the future, to use the old and expired mnsshp ticket to gain entry into the parks using the non expiry ticket.

when you link, it stops being a ticket, it starts being a "key" opening whatever is on your mdx account

the thing is you need to link up if you want to make FP+ selections
a safe workaround is to set up a brand new mdx account (if you stay offsite and don't lose 60 days FP+ in the process), just for the party, but that's not necessary, really.

don't worry, even on the same mdx account, the system will recognise that the mnsshp ticket is the one to be used if entering after 4pm, by the party entrance. But never hurts to check.
