Which holiday place in the UK do you love to return to? For a weekend or week away

Where do you go for a weekend break in the UK or a week away that you always return to? Not a specific hotel or accommodation but which area of the UK please? We have Southwold in Suffolk in our hearts and just wondered where other people's special places are.

Although it's only an hour or so away we love places like York and Pickering and then go onto Yorkshire east coast.

Had some lovely holidays in Wales mainly north and mid Wales.
Will be holidaying in both areas this year and can't wait 😊

Cornwall for me - I have a week in April, 2 in June and 1 in Sept and will fit in more if I have holidays left in work - I love to sit on the beach with my dog, book, flask of coffee and chocolate and the sound of the sea - I stay down by The Lizard but love Poldhu Cove, Porthlevan, St Ives and Falmouth - My heart belongs in Cornwall

Bournemouth. My grandparents lived there and as children, (my older brother and myself) we went there every year - sometimes twice - by coach from Birmingham.

We'd walk through the lower gardens and hear the band playing on the bandstand. The beach was always in wonderful condition and the tide didn't seem to go out much.

At the end of the day, we'd go to the East Cliff Lift and walk to the Lansdowne to catch a trolleybus back to our grandparent's.

Wonderful memories, and ones that I still revisit to this day. Our grandparents have long since departed of course and no trolleybuses these days but the spirit of Bournemouth is still there.

Pembrokeshire , such gorgeous scenery and beaches, but you really need good weather to appreciate it and it almost always rains on us.
I really want to get back to the Yorkshire Dales , we went several years ago and even though it rained almost every day I loved it. Hoping to go back this Spring.
