Found me an upgrade bargain

We are flying in October from Gatwick to MCO. Have always wanted to fly Premium but never been in our range. We are 2a 2ch.

Booked the bubble for the flight out which will feel like an upgrade to me and very excited to try it. Have been periodically asking Virgin chat what PE was and its varied from £150 each all the way up to £600 each. So without hope of expectation I logged on this morning to ask them and they came back with a price of £150 total. Bit their hand off and by the time it all went through it had changed to £136.

Only problem I have is they aren't doing seat selection in PE at the moment but they said there is a row of 4 free at the front which they are sure they will allocated to me and have requested it on the booking. I was reminded that they can't separate the children out anyway.

Feeling very happy.

How come they can't do seat selection in PE?
Is that a standard thing or just due to the upgrade?

It will be due to most of the seats being booked already. I suspect the OP will end up in Row 14. D E F & G

Good deal.

Yes she said the bulkhead seats were free and she couldn’t assign them but as they were the ones available she imagined that’s what I’d get. Didn’t know what that meant when she told me but I get it now and it makes sense.
