Games rooms in villas and heat

Stayed in one villa that had ac in the games room/garage. But most don't. I would agree - too hot.

OOOh...please do not leave the unairconditioned gage door open... it comprimises the A/C in the house...almost as bad as leaving the patoio doors open...poor A/C goes into over drive as it struggles to cope and can have a failure

With two sons ourselves the first thing we did was to install a separate a/c unit just for the gameroom, we also had the walls and door insulated and Italian tiled floor; so it's infact a lot colder in our gameroom than the main house with the A/C unit on in there!

We have never had an air conditioned games room either, but we also don’t look for a games room as a requirement as they are totally unusable in the summer when we go. I don’t even like having to go in them to do washing, I look for a villa with an inside laundry room, more benefit to me than a games room.
