The King bed rooms cost more. A surprising amount more for some reason.

The "Tower Standard view - 2 queen beds" room costs less than the standard view room at POR.

Unfortunately, I don't think the standard double rooms are available for your dates. They seem to be very difficult to get hold of (not surprising considering the price).

Oh I was just doing price comparions for the fun of it - no intention of switching from RPR any time soon!

Wonder if the King bed thing is related to the conference nature of the hotel - I remember tim tracker saying one of the main reasons for the new tower is that execs wanted a nicer place to stay. Perhaps disney thought the solo business traveller would like a king bed hence the price increase.

It's not something I've come across before so threw me. When looking at RPR through thomas cook it just says you'll get one or the other so I've never thought about it - a double is big enough for me on my lonesome!
