This looks fantastic, hopefully will be shown by Amazon in UK- but still not picked up by any UK station despite blistering reviews.

Based on true events, Forest Whitaker stars as gangster Bumpy Johnson- released from Alcatraz after 10 years, returns to NYC to find it ruled by the Italian mob, the Genovese crime family, and a war ensues.

Has a lot of big faces in it, including Paul Sorvino (if you don’t know the name you’ll know the face if you’ve Goodfellas) and Giancarlo Esposito (Gus Fring in Breaking Bad/ Better Call Saul).

A lot of it is also about the racial tensions, with Malcolm X etc (Nation of Islam were involved in a lot at the time, Bumpy Johnson knowing Malcolm X back in his drug dealing days, and Nation of Islam team up with Bumpy’s gang to take on the Genovese.)
