Toasted Marshmallow Flavoured Hot Cocoa @Wandering Oaken Trading Post

Toasted Marshmallow Flavoured Hot Cocoa @Wandering Oaken Trading Post
One of the menu items at the Frozen snow ground took our fancy!

This was yum, lots of flavour and extra marshmallows on the top! It was a bit surreal sitting by the snow drinking a hot drink in Florida but it did feel very festive!

Virgin Atlantic - Outbound Flight

Virgin Atlantic - Outbound Flight

The menu options

I went for the beef and mash and if I’m honest it was pretty good! Adam was less impressed with his, higher standards obviously :P

Adam went with the Chicken

The dessert was a yummy Gu pud, chocolate orange! Looking at the ingredients it was obvious I was about to kiss my diet goodbye…

I mean look at the ingredients list, it’s basically cream!

During the flight you could go and get drinks so Adam got me a coke

Not long after they brought round some little fab lollies which was welcome!

Shortly before landing we received out afternoon tea

It was pretty much the same as last time but the cupcake had been replaced with this which I thought was super cute and festive!

Overall some nice food, probably one our out better plane meals!

Via Napoli - Epcot - Dinner

Via Napoli - Epcot - Dinner

This was our second visit to Via Napoli and this time we were in the main dining area so we got a great view of what was going on.

We ordered drinks.

A Peroni for Adam

and a white sangria for me

We tried to order our food at the same time but apparently she only took drinks orders and shortly afterwards a lovely lady who was our “food server” arrived (this is the only placed we experienced this, anyone else had this?)

We passed on apps and decided to just share a large pizza.

Adam had been very ill on the day of our last visit and since then he’d felt cheated of his giant pizza, so this time it was not going to beat him!

A love the pizzas here, the bases are crisp and the topping looks minimal but it's really creamy and fresh.

Minus crusts we beat it! Although I was definitely carrying a giant bread baby, thank god for expandable pants!

then came the dessert menu, I REALLY wanted to try the since they had run out on our last visit. I mean look at them

I’m drooling just looking at them now! Imagine what I was like with them within touching distance.

But DAMN YOU BREAD BABY… I had to pass, instead I just nursed by sangria, I may have even shed a tear at the loss…

But all was not lost..

A nice lady and her daughter offered me one of theirs!

HALLELUJAH, a christmas miracle!

It was “Food Fate”, I pretended at first to politely refused, I’m british after all, but she explained they were on the dining plan and didn’t really want them?!?! From that point I needed no further encouragement!

ah ooh it was gooooooood, very light and fluffy with a slight wetness to them which I guess is the cheese

I certainly wouldn’t have managed a whole portion but at least I had tried them which it what mattered the most to me. I only had one, it seemed rude to scoff the lot.

Completely full we paid, using the bands of course, boy those things are dangerous, it’s like you’re not even paying!

COST
Bud Light - $8.00
White Sangria - $9.00
Large pepperoni pizza- $31.00

TOTAL (including tax and tip) - $60.72

NOM - O - METER SCORE
9 - nomnomnomnomnomnomnomnomnom

SCORES
  • Atmosphere - 8/10 - It a great atmosphere but very loud and busy in the main area
  • Quality - 9/10 - Couldn't really fault much, some crust edges were a little black so 1 point off perfect
  • Presentation - 10/10 - It's a pizza, there's not really any bad way to present it!
  • Service - 8/10 - Great but it was a little rushed and complicated
  • Value - 7/10 - It's not great value, it's an expensive pizza, BUT it's an amazing pizza and worth it!

BEST DISH
the Pizza!

That pizza looks sooooooo good My other half doesn't eat cheese though and I don't think I could manage it alone so fate is against me
