We’ve been to the Olivia and Oceania a couple of times and have booked Dassia for next October, really looking forward to it and want to try all of the hotels.
As others have said everything about the brand has been excellent in our experience. We’ve booked a panorama junior suite sea view. Anyone have any thoughts on which building would be best to request for this type of room? |

We were in the Sky building top floor the views were amazing watched the sunrise every morning so beautiful . The room was lovely so spacious didn’t want to leave 😟.
We are looking at booking Olivia next October where going to book the new Andalusia but the prices are so high 😮. Do you have any recommendations for rooms we were looking at maybe the panoramic junior suite sea view again .

We were in the main building at Olivia. I think all the panorama junior suites might be in the main building but not sure. The main criteria I have when we go to an Ikos is a sea view, can’t beat relaxing on the balcony watching the sunset with a cold drink in hand.
One thing I think you’ll find different from the Dassia is that there really isn’t much of a town outside of the resort. We weren’t looking to leave the resort when we went there so weren’t bothered by that. Just making sure you realise this as Dassia sounds like it’s easy to get to and from Corfu Town and you don’t have the option of going to a biggish town at the Olivia. |

Thank you . Totally agree about the sea view although you will only get a sunrise at Dassia. The inland rooms get the sunset. Great to watch the sunset on the evening cruise to Corfu.
What about Oceania for rooms and places outside the resort.

Block 5 (deluxe) uninterrupted views... Amazing hotel... Block 1 or B4( I think) are also wonderful but B5 wins. Nothing really outside the town x

What about Oceania for rooms and places outside the resort. Didn’t realise that about not seeing the sunset from the sea view rooms, glad I know before we go. I’m sure we’ll still manage to enjoy our stay.😉 I think all the panorama junior suite sea view rooms are in block 4 at Oceania. We walked into the town, which is a short walk along the sea front from the resort. It was an okay town but we only went on our first trip and didn’t bother the second time. When we’ve been to both Olivia and Oceania we’ve been going for a chilled out holiday, not looking for much that isn’t provided in the resort hence we’ve not been bothered about leaving the resort. Bear in mind they have the Mini available and car hire was available to book at both resorts if you want to venture further. |

We have booked with Ikosholidays flying from Gatwick. The Oceania and Olivia came out cheaper than any of the others for our dates.
