DVC Member Cruise - Oct 2019 - Day 3

Bermuda!

Woke up to alongside King's Wharf in Bermuda. Weather was lovely and warm, mid 70's and sunny.

The wind... 25kts plus. Loads of trips were cancelled due to the sea state (virtually all the trips were sea based, being a small island).

We planned to get around the island by bus/taxi/ferry and explore on our own. Plans were hit a bit by my wife not feeling well after we went ashore and all the transport rammed with all the cruisers who had trips cancelled. Next to use was the Allure of the Seas, so another 5,000 passengers wasn't helping.
After a good look around it was back to the ship. No point being belligerent and dragging her around the island while she was feeling unwell. Being married 23 years I knew better than that.
Had a lovely day on the ship, in and out of the pool/tub, few drinks, bit of funnel vision. Just what a Disney cruise is all about.
Our friends trip was land based, they didn't get back until we had already started ordering. As we had seen the Twice Charmed show before we decided to go ashore and hit he Frog and Onion Brew Pub in the dockyard. Nice setup, was expecting it to be busy but with an RCI ship in probably mostly on drink packages and an elderly group on the Magic it was pretty quiet.
Brews were nice, nothing outstanding but credit to them for being the only brewery for about 1,000 miles.
Another late night back on the ship, this time Cognac.
