Mobile phone for 78 year old mil
We are getting her a phone for Christmas, she has a Motorola smart phone but can’t text on it. Any ideas for a easy phone for her to manage, something very easy to use!

I recommended an iPhone to my 73 yr old aunt. She had another phone but was always getting stuck on something and calling me. At least with an iPhone I can guide her through each step over the phone. After being totally computer illiterate a few years ago, she’s now on Facebook, messenger and books her own holidays

Yes Doro if you like flip.
Highly accessible, hearing aid compatible, big buttons and an emergency contact button on the back. This one is good. amazon/gp/aw/d/B01..._t3_B017WA7GIY Also like the fact that it has remote set up and control, but maybe for a bit further down the line for your mil? My advice would be if you don't get Doro which are able to be fixed by you at a distance that you get one similar to your own do when you get the "I don't know how to" phone calls you can just go through it easily with them. I have some stunning long distance "explaining technology" conversations with my mum 😂 Edited at 08:59 PM. |
