Perfume for fake trees

Nothing beats a fresh tree, but we 'need' a 10' tree and it's just too much to spend now so we have a plastic monstrosity that we haul from the loft each year. Apparently you can buy perfume/oil/candle - I have no clue - to give you that Christmas tree feel.

So what is it, where do I purchase, and which is the most natural scent?

We have mulled wine scentsicles, they smell so good.
Liked it better than pine scent .
We still had last years on the tree and can still smell it when we took it out of the loft

I use Scentsicles, the tree still smells of the ones I used last year.

Personally I think the scent sticks are poor and don't last. An idea someone mentioned on here was a candle nearby which they said worked well. However for the last couple of years I've used the Christmas oils M & S sell, £2 a bottle, and each day put a few drops on the branches, works brilliantly

I bought scentsicles last year. Cinnamon for our main tree and spiced orange for the porch tree and like another poster, we had packed them away last year and they still smell today although they have now been binned and replaced with new ones.

I bought them in the US then discovered I could get them cheaper in Aldi. We like the orange and cinnamon ones.
