Mobile Keeping universal annual pass running

Our universal annual passes officially expire in Nov 20.
We may go to Florida in march 21
Would I be right in saying that I could leave my monthly direct debit payment running till I return then cancel and this would be better than cancelling the pass and either starting a new pass come march or buying 2 week passes

Hi mike4scuba.

I would leave the direct debit as it is.

I am assuming you bought your annual pass November 2019?

If you did, it should have included an additional 3 months for free which would take you up to February 2021 - you then include the number of days the parks have been closed which would take you well beyond March 2021.

If none of this applies to you, a polite email to guest services at Universal may get you an extension to cover you for the dates you wish to travel in 2021.

We had originally booked to go September 2020 but will not be going. I explained to Universal in an email that we would be likely to travel in October 2021 and they replied with a case number offering me a 30 consecutive day extension to activate when we go in October 2021.

Hope that helps.

We did indeed purchase and use the first days in Nov 2019 but nothing was mentioned about an extra 3 months. We're can I find this info.
This would be ideal if it would extend for a trip in march 2021

We purchased ours on the 28th October and this wasn't mentioned either however, when I emailed Universal about a possible extension, they advised me that our annual passes included the offer of 3 additional months free which meant our passes wouldn't have actually expired until Jan 2021.

Send them over an email to confirm when they expire

If you log on the annual pass page you can check expiry (I think .. we have with ours but was closer to renewal time).
I always use the DM from the UOAP page and I have to say in all the years it’s been open they have always 100% been bang on xx
Remember as well when it comes to renewal time you will get the passes much cheaper if you pay in full. We always do this and I think it’s something like 20% discount ... you can do online x

hi gave universal a call and was told the passes I purchased in early November 2019 will renew on feb 03 2021 so I am guessing this is the 3 months free you mentioned. will they then add the time for the 80 days that the parks were closed onto the passes taking the expiry date to the 23 April 2021

we were thinking of going on holiday from march 14th to the 28th March 21 so this should in theory cover our universal entry

Ah good news for you Yes so they will add the 80ish days on to the initial expiry date of the 3/2/21 meaning the passes will expire on or around 23/4/21 so it will definitely cover your next trip
