Is it possible to book a package then upgrade flights using miles?

I'm looking ahead to whenever! I am wondering if this scenario is possible -

Can I book a package holiday with VH, which includes Economy flights with VS, then upgrade the seats to Upper using my Flying Club miles?

No, unfortunately not.

Virgin Holidays uses a discounted ticket code for its flights and its not permissible to upgrade using miles

Its usually a pretty good deal to include the UC seats in your Virgin Hols booking though
