USA Road Trips...

We also did a mini road trip from Calgary to Missoula (Montana) to Calgary in August 2017. We drove via Glacier National Park/Going to the Sun Road. It was spectacular!
Just over 10 days in total, although most of the time was spent in Missoula as we were there for a family wedding.

We (couple w/o kids) did a 12 day road trip with a Nissan Rogue in 2019, going from Anaheim (after 5 days of Disney Overdose) to Zion NP, then Bryce Canyon NP, followed by the last three of the mighty five NPs in Utah, Capitol Reef, Arches and Canyonlands.

After visiting Arches and Canyonlands, we drove from Moab , Utah to Page, Arizona via Monument Valley, then visited Grand Canyon and ended the tour with 3 nights in Las Vegas.

With the exeption of Bryce Canyon, Moab and Grand Canyon, which were two night stays, we only spend one night at the other locations.
We would not do that again, because we think that the mighty five deserve much more attention.
We could have spent our whole vacation in beautiful landscape of Utah.

All our hotels were booked with booking com and cancleable until a few days before arrival.

We did a two week road trip last May through California, Nevada and Arizona, flew in and out of LAX and stayed in various hotels.

- Las Vegas (Visited Red Rock Canyon and drove through Death Valley NP back into California)
- Disneyland
- Sequoia NP
- Yosemite NP
- Santa Monica
