Virtual lines, how will they work

I have been trying to find information on how the virtual lines will work at both Disney and Universal.
Will they be limited to only being allowed in 1 line at a time, like volcano bay?
This would then mean you could not attend any other attractions as they will all be virtual lines?
With something like Hagrids i could imagine making a reservation first thing in the morning and not being able to ride until late afternoon, meaning that you have hours of doing nothing?

I hope i have this wrong and someone has more information on it!

Not sure about Disney

Universal have said you can be in virtual queues for multiple rides at the same time

Not all rides in universal have a virtual line and universal are keeping express and normal lines open so you can ride other rides whilst in your virtual queue

Edited at 01:22 PM. Reason: Extra info

I was a off with the information above, this will give you more details about the virtual queues at Universal:

Go to all ears.net and they’ll have an annual pass holder preview link

I’d post the link but I’m newly signed up so not allowed

That’s really interesting. I’m not sure how I feel about it.

Here’s the link the article (I think I’m allowed to post it):

Interesting that there are areas where you can remove your mask for a break from them.

wonder how the locker areas will work as they are an utter nightware at the best of times never mind trying to distance

is each ride car/seat going to be sanitized after each party leaves ?

seriously i cant see how they can operate

Just to add we watched WDW Couple Vlog last night, he attended AP holders & resort guests opening, Virtual Queues for Uni Studios were finished by 9:30, the park only opened at 9! He likened it to ROTR. TBH from his camera it didn't look particularly busy & I would hate to think what it will be like tomorrow

Hopefully it will not be a similar experience to ROTR though when we went in February we managed to get on it twice and that was the only days we tried but the feeling of pressure to get on the app and secure a spot was not great. Literally with a couple of mins to spare on day one we got in the park and then the second attempt could not get on the app, luckily my wife was trying at the same time and secured a spot, we were queuing for Slinky dog and the american couple behind us were way down the list and i noted their number did not even come up. could you see every morning be a mad rush to get in the parks and secure queues ?

We were there in February too. We tried three times for ROTR and got on once! The mobs trying to get in the park, get a boarding pass and then leaving when unsuccessful were unbelievable! If that’s how it’s supposed to work at Universal for Virtual Queues it will be horrendous and completely against the guidelines!
Incidentally I wonder what Disney are going to do now for ROTR? I don’t think the boarding passes are practical
