Virgin Car Hire Cancellation Policy
Hi. Does anyone know the current cancellation policy for car hire booked through Virgin Car Hire? There seems to be conflicting information. I’ve tried to contact them but cannot get through and my email hasn’t been answered (nor has my text message). Although this is all understandable, I need to know whether to cancel or amend. Many thanks.

This is their Policy. No changes to what has been in existence for as long as I can remember. Bear in mind if you book via VA that VH fulfills the contract anyhow so VH policy applies.
Partnered with Alamo/National, we’re able to offer you car hire in over 280 locations within North America and Canada with award winning service Dedicated Virgin Holidays area located at Orlando International Airport with car hire experts on hand to assist One additional driver included as standard in our Fully Inclusive package Receive 1000 flying club miles by simply getting your card swiped by Alamo upon arrival No cancellation or amendment fees 24/7 roadside assistance included in all of our car hire Book your car hire in conjunction with a Virgin holidays package and access our exclusive Gold Plus package including a free GPS rental, Unlimited Child Seats, tank of fuel, up to 3 additional driver and underage driver fees included virginholidays/hol...anada-car-hire Edit. Neither VA or VH car hire bookings can be amended. They can be cancelled and rebooked however. I have done it quite a bit over the years.

Same here. Ironically I was cancelling due to a family members illness but now we couldn’t go anyway due to Coronavirus. I’ve sent the message so I’m assuming that at some stage they will honour the cancellation as the message was done more than a couple of days before the rental.

Sorry for the repeat posting.but I should have posted here
We don’t go till June I have tried to cancel my car hire with virgin holidays via WhatsApp two days ago I have given them my reference number but had no reply I am at the 87 days and if they leave it longer I will lose more money I am at my wits end with them they are not being helpful at all. I don’t know what to do they won’t answer the phone or reply to WhatsApp.any advice would be appropriated.

Don’t panic Rhino. There are many in exactly the same situation. I’ve contacted VH via WhatsApp and been told that they are working through things by departure date. Those leaving soonest will be dealt with first.
I know others in this thread have got things sorted quickly but the situation has escalated quickly. Try to be patient. I know it’s difficult but you don’t leave until June. You have time! |
