It is MK's 50th anniversary in October 2021, so yes the celebrations will start sometime in 2021. Disney hasn't said whether the celebrations will start in earnest before the autumn next year - although I am sure there will be merchandise on sale.

As for what new things will open between now and then, the following is a list of forthcoming attractions:

Originally, it was thought it should be open by the end of Summer 2021 (perhaps before then). Now...? Who knows! But I suspect Disney will try its hardest to get it done before the end of September 2021.

Yes we have stayed there once before and we are returning to the same villa. We are flying out 21st October staying 2 nights on site then 2 weeks at Windsor hills from 23rd. We are returning because we loved it. Great location and a lovely community pool with a small shop there selling poolside snacks and beverages. X

We are planning to go in May next year. Have cancelled both our trips for this year including the December one. Hopefully nothing stops us next time!

Hopefully book POFQ with free quick dining and upgrade to the ddp.
