This is what my email read

Thank you for contacting Universal Orlando Resort. I apologize for the delay in response, as we are working diligently to assist every Guest reaching out to us.


After looking up your Annual Pass, I can confirm it was used approximately thirteen (13) times, set to expire 1/29/2021 and will be extended for the total amount of days Universal Orlando Resort is closed. Should this extension not cover the dates of your vacation, I would like to offer you an additional extension to match the duration of your vacation, not to exceed thirty (30) consecutive days of use. This offer will not expire, all block out dates and restrictions remain dependent on your Pass type. This offer will also be valid for the affiliated Annual Passes you pictured below.


Please know, you need not take any action right now for this offer – we have already created a file for your records, under: *******.

Upon your vacation with us, please visit Guest Services at any three (3) of Universal Orlando Resort Parks, present your file number with Photo ID, and you will be assisted accordingly.

Wow - that is really generous of them. Mine will expire on 15th May, and we missed our April trip. Supposed to be going again in September, and if so, would like to think we could use our annual passes. Well done.

I am hoping so too. I mean it’s good that we will get a pro rata refund but that’s not worth the same as what it’s going to cost me for new tickets for next year.

Drives me all a bit nuts as it’s all a big gamble.

My Disney annual is due to run out on 13/6 we will have to see how far they are willing to extend.

Seems a shame that we will have paid £3430 for 4 annual passes to only have used 9 days 🥺

Yes I’m sure they’re pretty busy at the moment, and it’s weekend too, so hopefully I’ll hear something mid week. I’m so impressed by their response to you. It’s make or break for us, we were only going back this year due to the annual passes which we upgraded to for £40 each and the £280 virgin flights! But certainly won’t be a cheapo trip if we need new flights and new tickets to go next year.

Just realised i only gave our names, not our pass numbers!

I’ll certainly update when I hear back, thanks again for posting.

I forgot to do this initially but they emailed me asking for photos of the passes so they could confirm the reference numbers on them. They were quite quick to respond once I had provided this information

This is great news, ours run out 26th Sept, currently we arrive 16th & with current extensions can cover our whole holiday but like others we are waiting to see how this all pans out before making a decision.It is good to know that US will extend our AP until next year if we decide not to travel.

I think I'm being a bit thick here. But does this mean that you can visit anytime in the future as they say this offer does not expire, but the visit cannot extend beyond 30 days?

I had just assumed we would have put up with our APs expiring if we don’t go this year but it sounds like we may have a bit of hope. I did think we might just leave Universal next year but if they extend our passes that would obviously change that.
