First Disney Cruise for 2022
Hi there,
Can I who is the best Disney cruise line company to book with for the free cruise credit. I'm sure I read about these. Any advice great, any room recommendations we are hoping to add a Disney cruise onto our 2022 holiday was going to be 2021 but we have decided to go later. Due to everything. Also my son will be 13 then but he loves the look of the oceaneers lab would he be allowed to go in that one? |

Hi Lilo,
It’s massively worth reading Bats’ sticky everything you need to know about Disney cruise line on this part of the forum, it’s hugely helpful! Your 13 year old would be allowed in oceaneers when it’s open house - usually a couple of times a day Anyone is allowed in. I’m not sure they would be allowed at other times, they have a specific club for that age group and all children are given a band which they have to scan in / out so he wouldn’t be able to try to pass for younger (remember it’s up to 10 too). |

So in terms of cruise credit, for this you need to book through a US travel agent. I've used a few such as Dreams Unlimited, Pixie Vacations and InTouch Vacations. It really is preference but I'd get some quotes from those offering credit (including those above) and then check out reviews of the companies. The two mentioned above I've had good experiences with. The issue with booking with a US agent is that you have to pay in dollars which may or may not have additional fees depending on how you are paying. I've got a credit card that doesn't charge fees for foreign purchases but be careful on this.
In terms of the clubs mrsmickey is correct that it will only be during open house or a family activity that your soon will able to go into Oceanears lab. That said they do have a lot of these. If you go to disneycruiselineblog you can search for navigators from previous cruises and these will show you how frequently this type of activity is on. They do also sometimes do a cross over activity where they use the lab while the other kids are somewhere else type thing but again its best to look at some recent navigators. Definitely take a look at the sticky too.
