Gatwick/Heathrow transfer recommendations

Hi

As we have EJ flights booked from Edinburgh to Gatwick, we may now need a transfer service. Would love to have some recommendations please, would rather book a private transfer. Would be Gatwick to a Heathrow PI the night before (as I don't think VS do twilight check in?) then Heathrow to Gatwick on return. Initial searches seem to suggest around £150?

Thank you

If a private transfer is too expensive how about a National Express coach? I've just had a look and they go direct between airports. It's about £36 return.

If you’re doing an overnight stop between your Gatwick & Heathrow flights, is a 1 way car rental an option?

We’ve used the national express coaches a few times as they run really frequently and take the same time as most cars as it all seems to be dictated by traffic flow anyway
