However, there is a difference between ordering something and purchasing something. I can order something now and not pay for it (i.e. purchase it) until later. You ordered the tickets from OAT in November and that fixed the price as it was shown on OAT's website at that time. Disney will only extend tickets that have been purchased (perhaps direct from them, as bighal says), not ordered.

But, yes, it's not good news to hear.
Just to confirm the above and as suspected the extension is for tickets that are full purchased (just had a online chat with the lady and to be fair she did show me how to get tickets cheeper than the combination deals). I presume that a deposit is "an intention to buy" and therefore not classed as full purchase. The next question is if it's worth loosing the £40 deposit if there are any better details to be had.

Would be interesting if there are any better deals out there, i paid £665 each for a Universal/Disney switch ticket - that was a black friday deal and pretty unbeatable at the time.
