Mobile Buying tickets in Orlando

Hi. Hoping to go next year after this years cancellation and I will be looking to get the Disney/universal combo tickets. Having a bad experience with a uk ticket dealer with regards to a refund, my question is, is it possible to purchase tickets when actually in Orlando and what sort of deals are available? Any info appreciated. Thanks

From what I remember and I might be wrong so forgive me but I don’t think the deals are as good as what you get in the U.K.

There is no such thing as a combo ticket, its a package of separately available tickets which often can be bought separately from else where and from a combination of sellers.
You can buy tickets in the US nut they are usually for shorter duration and cost more. Take Disney for example the maximum length you can buy is 10 days compared to 14 or 21 day UK tickets. The day ticket will similar features to the UK tickets will cost you $687.23 roughly £550 in a $1.25 exchange rate which is a lot more than an UK 21 day ticket. Its another $169 for memory maker included in the UK tickets. The US price is based on picking a certain date they start, its another $129 if you don't know your dates.
So you can see its expensive to buy in the US compared to UK tickets unless you only want a day or 2. Universal tend to be similar in being more for less time.

You can certainly buy park tickets whilst in Orlando. Lots of Americans do. For example, you can buy them at the entrance to the parks, just like you can for every other theme park. They do tend to be more expensive though, which is often why people buy the tickets before they go.

As bighal says above, you can't buy the UK-only tickets whilst in Orlando. You won't be able to buy the 14-day Ultimate tickets for Disney or the 14-day Explorer tickets for Universal. You can only buy the tickets available to Americans, which tend to be more expensive for large numbers of days. If you're thinking of visiting Disney and/or Universal on several days (> 4 days) of your holiday then it's best to buy the UK tickets before you go. You can choose to delay when you buy the tickets and purchase e-tickets just a week or so before you plan to go.

Conversely if you only plan to visit Disney or Universal on a couple of days then the American tickets can be cheaper than the 14-day tickets. For example, you can get a 2-Day Base ticket for Universal for around £200. I would still recommend buying these before you go though - from somewhere like UndercoverTourist (for example) - although you'll still be stuck with whatever Ts&Cs the company has with regards to refunds if you still have to cancel. But that's true of any tickets you buy.
