BA to MCO. LGW or LHR ?
About to book 18nts with BA for May 21. Prices are pretty good so have no reservations about booking early.
Only thing is, will I be flying from Gatwick as advertised or Heathrow since BA may pull the plug on Gatwick. Would like to book travel to/from airport and overnight hotel so if anyone has insider knowledge it would be appreciated. |

No one knows. Hedge you bets and book a refundable hotel at both places. To and from only book if refundable.
I dont think BA will release their timetable until they have settled their cabin crew issues and they have a consultation period by law first. |

I always book flights on a refundable basis. I don't tend to book my airport hotel until much nearer the time too.

I booked my flights and Bloc hotel for my September trip as a package with BA before anything was said about them possibly leaving Gatwick. Just to be on the safe side I've now also booked a night at a Premier Inn at Heathrow which can be paid on arrival and has free cancellation up to 1.00 on the day of arrival.

They have already publicly declared they are possibly intending to pull out of Gatwick.

Press release about a month ago (roughly same time as the VA one) to say that BA are seriously thinking of pulling out of LGW and consolidating into LHR. No date published yet I don't think.
We're with them in November but no idea where from yet. Mick

I guess they are still taking bookings from LGW because it might be next week they move or equally next year or even 2022. They have to continue to trade and secure revenue.
As you've mentioned only paying a deposit I guess you've booked a package or a fly-drive? Don't know what to suggest - maybe call them as they've been one of the good guys through this. Sadly you'll have the same problem with VA if LHR doesn't suit you as it's there or MAN soon for them Mick
