I was positive for 11th September but I got outvoted by the rest of the party so we are going to move our trip. I'd go right now if they'd let me but I get where everyone else is coming from. It gives me more time to shift some of this lockdown weight I suppose else people mistake me for Hagrid. I'll definitely be living vicariously through anyone who does get to go this year though!

We too are supposed to be flying from Doncaster on 5th sept but my daughter should be returning to school in September. shes 13yrs so I really don't want her to miss anymore schooling. So I am afraid to say that we really don't want to go and hope it is now canceled

We are due to fly 17th sept with BA. staying at endless summer. Also have 1 night dvc booked at Disney and mnsshp tickets. Not sure if that will happen but staying positive for universal. Parks and hotel open, just need to be allowed to fly, allowed in USA and not have to quarantine when we get back ! Getting there lol.

Mobile Any fellow Sep/Oct optimists?

Hello 😁✌️

Like many we had the email from Virgin giving us a lovely 4 days to make a decision to go as planned or to postpone.

We've decided to just go ahead for a number of reasons, one of which being I'm trying to be totally optimistic about where we'll be in 4 months!

Anyone else in the same camp?

I'm going September but to Universal now, not Disney.

We have booked October and November to cover ourselves and will go in October if possible, November if FCO say otherwise.

I am staying hopeful for October, we got some great flights (Air miles) and I’ve managed to book DVC rooms too.

I can cel my flights up to 24hrs before we fly so will wait and hope.

Why did you change to Universal? (if you don’t mind me asking) Where are you staying? We love Universal too

I'm a regular positive contributor to the August optimism thread so indeed I'm more than happy to say yes to your request even though we're not going until November

Absolutely, but we don’t do Disney, ‘just’ Universal, Discovery Cove, Seaworld, Busch Gardens and Aquatica.
