Information re flights and quarantine.

Check your policy, if you have one. Mine says we’re covered if the FCO advice is in place within 31 days of travel. So in theory I only need the advice in place until 10 July. (It’s Barclays travel pack)

You also have to remember is that the FCO has not actually banned travel. It has advised against all but essential travel, they are 2 different things. The flight can still go ahead and you would not be entitled to a refund but would have to try and claim on your insurance instead.

I’m just going to go completely mental here and say that I think the UK quarantine will be finished on or before 28th June and the FCO will start to ammend advice from middle of this month.

I generally agree with you, 3 weeks of UK quarantine restrictions then fully or partially relaxed, FCO change their advice by the beginning of July and Mr T allows access to the USA from Europe inc UK from July at some point too!

There is a touch of wishful thinking here I must add!
