Amanda as always i have so enjoyed reading about your trip.

I so love all your shopping bargains and at how you manage to eat those fab meals and stay so slim. It looked like you had a brilliant holiday and I can imagine how excited you are about buying your own piece of land in Florida!

Happy house building xx

A nice smooth travel home day.
I love that you got to see the dolphins on Little Toot, such an incredible sight!
I remember that house that refused to be torn down when we did a dolphin boat trip, such an endearing story.

Your plane seats are perfect with oodles of room, I don’t think I’ve ever had the extra leg room seats before, I may look into that when it’s just Jim and I going away. Airplane breakfasts are just rank, doesn’t matter who you fly with they’re never great. Why they can’t give you a slightly warmed up croissant or pain au chocolate and a yoghurt is beyond me!

So so excited for your new adventure. A real pain that the building has been delayed but I’m sure once everything gets up and running it won’t take long. Just need this pesky virus to do one so we can all get back to planning and looking forward to our holidays again!

A great shopping haul, you know how much I love my stripes as well. In fact I was doing the ironing yesterday, a job I loathe so let it build up and every piece of clothing bar one was a stripe. I think I may need more variety in my wardrobe 😂

Thank you for writing the report Amanda, it’s definitely helped in the planning for our next holiday whether that be this August or next. Looking forward to reading more about the house building when it starts 😃

Wow what a way to end! I guessed you’d bought a home but not just a blooming plot You’ll have to set up some sort of throne within a tent to quaff cocktails and supervise building

In terms of your short trip to NOLA ... I so agree with everything having had nine days here in Feb (and a five night drinks inclusive cruise in the middle of those days) that it took my liver some time to recover but I cannot wait to go back. I hope most business can make it through.

What a nice, relaxing last day. The Little Toot boat trip sounds the perfect way to end your holiday. How cute to see the dolphins, and I just love the story of the lady who wouldn't sell her beachfront home. It looks a lovely little house in a fab location, no wonder she wouldn't budge!

Flights home seem better than your experience on the way out, but that breakfast I just can't understand the weird breakfast options on planes.

Nice shopping haul too - lots of stripes Some good bargains.

I enjoyed reading over your highs and lows again... over a long trip report it's easy to forget bits so it was nice to have a recap. You visited some really interesting and lovely places... I think I'll have to stop reading trip reports because I want to visit everywhere!

Palm Coast certainly does sound like a highlight for you - it's so nice to find somewhere you feel at home. I hope your build gets going soon, you must be so excited. I can't imagine how thrilling it will be to get the update videos from the site manager once it all gets going - maybe you'll share some of them with us?

Aww we loved Little Toot, we saw loads of dolphins but my favourite bit was the houses, I love finding out who owns them! The trip on Little Toot made me want to do the tour in Miami by boat, was amazing! Really enjoyed your report as always Amanda and I'm really excited for you buying property over there, I need to try and find your instagram to follow your developments, really exciting! Looking forward to more trip reports, whenever we are allowed to get back out of the UK! Thanks for sharing and take care, Angela xx

Hey Alicia
Things have moved on a bit recently haven’t they
Little Toot was a perfect finish to the holiday. We had such a nice time.
I always looked for those seats before we book. It’s become a bit of a must. Does limit our choices sometimes
Still planning on the build. They are keen to get going. We are not. It’s just a waiting game. I’m looking at lots of furniture in the meantime
I think I have worn stripes every day of lockdown I really must not buy any more

Lol, we had thought about renting an airstream to do just that
I just watched the Princess and the Frog yesterday .. it made me miss NOLA even more

Hi Lynda, as last days go it was pretty good, we didn’t feel like we were just hanging around and the boat was quiet so perfect for us.

I guess it’s take your own breakfast in future ... no more moaning about plane food
We had so many different experiences on the trip, so much fun exploring. I’m very lucky Andy doesn’t mind all that driving

We look at our plot on Google every day and just think about all our plans. It’s all about when we can get started . Maybe next year. Can’t see this year being realistic. I just can’t wait ... to be so close to the lovely coast and such a nice feel to the area. Sigh ...
