Yeah been a week of “what would we be doing?”
Instead a drink with friends last night became a 2022 holiday plan! Luv it!

Hi yes mine was Friday, going to Turkey tomorrow for a week, haven't wanted to get too excited till now as also had a Lanzarote trip cancelled Rearranged Florida for next August. More time for planning 😀

For most of the past 18 years, we have flown on or around this 1st/2nd weekend in August. Its DDs 16th birthday next week and she has been lucky enough to spend most of them in Florida, and we would have loved to be there for this special one.

Fortunately, we had hesitated booking flights as early as we normally would have, partly because we were also going in Feb 2020, and also because of her GCSEs and enrolment for 6th form or college dates to have to work around. So glad we didn't have to worry about refunds/vouchers etc.

Funny thing is that, having thought we might be losing the Florida bug a little, we now can't wait to go back! Even DS (22) has decided he's coming with us again.
