The number of screws you need will vary. So in the one I've just built I needed

6 for the motherboard (not forgetting the support pillars)
4 for the psu
1 for the SSD
4 for the 3.5" hard drive
1 for the graphics card
2 for the memory card reader
2x2 for the case sides

I would also invest in some cable ties to keep the wiring neat
i used to work for a well known italian office equipment manufacturer, in the late 80's/early 90's we brought out a range of PCs that could be fully disassembled with no tools at all... apparently designed by an all female design team..

Anything like this (which currently is used as a doorstop)

Yes it is. But it's way past it's best now.

Cant add anything to what others have said really. Just built mine last year and as others have said few parts need screws now. Many components have a click and play ability once the motherboard is in.

I would try to find a good YouTube video demonstration for your type of build. It may not show your exact parts but it could give a visual guide to what to do and when.

This is one that has had a lot of views. Not used it myself.

Make sure you put the spacers between the motherboard and case. I didn’t do this on my first build years ago and fried the motherboard
