Panicking, esta
We go in 6 days and have a valid esta however hadn’t realised the middle name change. I’ve only been back on in the last week and just discovered it.
My head says we will be ok having read the latest responses. But my heart is worried, worst still with 6 days to go there’s no guarantee it will all go through in time if I start a new application... which would then cancel our current esta. DH thinks we have nothing to be worried about. Maybe it’s just last minute nerves because it’s our dream holiday and we’ve had a tough year with my health and possible job loss. It’s meant to be a way to celebrate my daughters birthday, she would have been twelve.

You will be fine don't worry they arnt enforcing it, my son went through 2 weeks ago with no middle name on his!

Do not do anything
Do not stress about it many dibbers entered the US in the previous weeks/months, with non-middle names ESTAs and were fine (I was one of them) your ESTA was valid and complying at the time you submitted it you'll enter your middle names on your next ESTA when the current one has run out  you'll be fine Edited at 11:41 AM. |

If you have an approved ESTA and it's valid for your holiday then leave it as it is.
At the moment, the whole middle name thing doesn't appear to make any difference. As far as anyone is aware, no one has been stopped because they've not included their middle name. Just remember for the next time you fill in an ESTA, that's all. Also, try not to worry and have a great holiday!

Thank you, think working the night shift gave me too much time to think about it and nobody to talk it through with 😅. Back onto excitement of the last shift, suitcase packing etc.

We travelled in August with no middle name on my daughter's ESTA. Honestly, it will be fine!
