Ouch! We are travelling to the airport on Tuesday then fly out Wednesday morning. Can't wait to see and feel some sunshine, had sleet, hail and snow the last few days

My last day is Sunday for nice 12 hr shift then fly out Wednesday morning still have so much to do before Tuesday night :'(

Is that deliberate or accidental, having a couple of days before you go?
I did it once, and have never looked back. It takes stress out of your preperations/packing, knowing you have a couple of days to sort any issues out, collect your cash etc. Much better than running about in your dinner hour when you're trying to concentrate on a handover at work, get that sorted, then sort yourself. Knowing they can get hold of you for a couple of days makes the handover less stressful as well, as you feel less compelled to cram in as much stuff as possible "in case".
